Gratitude and the Law of Attraction

Do you take time out of your day to be grateful and to show your gratitude for all the wonderful things in your life? Not too many of us do. When you look around though you notice that the people who show their gratitude are also the people who seem happiest. What is that?

My take on that is that people who take the time to focus on their gratitude are also welcoming it into their lives. They are acting on the Law of Attraction (LOA) whether they think about LOA or not. The Law of Attraction tells us that if we focus on something we will attract it. What a wonderful concept except that is it true for negative things as well as positive things. That is why people who focus on gratitude are attracting positives - they are focusing on the good things in their lives gratitude meditation script.

How can you make that happen in your life? Here are some things you can do to get started.


  1. Make a list of all the things you are grateful for and hang the list somewhere where you will see it on a daily basis.

  2. Write in a gratitude journal each day about something you were especially grateful for that day.

  3. Each day make a list of ten things you are grateful for. Make a list of ten different things the next day, and ten different things the next day and so on and so on until you find yourself repeating regularly.

  4. Create a collage on a piece of poster board showing pictures of the things you are grateful for. Look at it daily.

  5. Subscribe to magazines and read books about themes you are grateful for. For example a magazine like House Beautiful will help you concentrate on your home and be grateful for what you have.

  6. Write poetry or stories about things you are grateful for.

  7. Spend time meditating each day on things you are grateful for.

  8. Make action plans to get more of what you are grateful for.

  9. Draw pictures of what you are grateful for.

  10. Join a coaching group that focuses on gratitude, LOA and how to attract it.


Notice that most of the items I listed are things I suggest you do on a daily basis. That is one of the basic pillars of the Law of Attraction. The more you focus on what you want the more likely it will come to you. That does not mean you can force it - you cannot. The Universe will provide in its own way. Be grateful for that too.
